Ash And District Photo Club

CURRENTLY NOT MEETING

The Ash & District Photo Club is a self-help group aimed mainly at retired people who have an interest in any aspect of photography. Members from beginners to those with considerable experience are welcome. We meet monthly, during the afternoon, and divide our meeting into a few parts including a “how to do it” subject, a review of members pictures on a chosen theme and time for problems, gossip and show off.

For our “how to do it” subjects members are encouraged to give a short, informal talk on a subject rolex day date m128239 0005 rolex calibre 2836 2813 mens silver tone in which they have an interest. Care is taken to balance these subjects across the range of experience in the club.

Each month we choose a subject for a picture review. Members are encouraged to take up to three photos of a subject chosen by the group at the previous meeting. At the following meeting the club will look at the results and talk about any issues or ideas that were found or used. These pictures do not have to be perfect. This is not a competition and presenting one that went wrong could provide as much useful knowledge to the group as a perfect one. Last year we certainly had fun http://www.lunar-vape.co.com looking at our pictures on subjects that included; Still Life, Round, Mystery Object or Place, Black and White, and Movement.

Once a year we hold a competition

We meet on the third Thursday of each month from 2-4pm in the rear hall at The Victoria Hall, Ash Hill Road Ash, GU12 5DN. We are a very friendly group and would love to welcome some new members. Please get in touch if you would like more information.
